Becomes a member of the European network “EIT-Food Rising Food Stars”, a group of outstanding agri-food young companies
Selected as one of the Top 100 start-ups in 2019 in Switzerland (and again in 2020 and 2021)
Awarded EUR 2.5M from the EU’s EIC Accelerator, to support the development of an automated food certification platform
Raised CHF 3.7M in first financing round, led by VisVires New Protein (Singapore) and joined by EIT Food (Belgium)

Our Founders
Gianpaolo Rando
Co-Founder & CEO
With a PhD in biotechnology and pharmacology, Gianpaolo Rando has a successful academic track record and is repeating this in the commercial world. Co-founder and co-inventor of the original patent from the University of Geneva, he has 15 years of international academic and startup experience in the biotechnology and food-technology sector, leading multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
