In this project, a novel multiplex digital microfluidic (DMF) platform to automate onsite milk fraud testing is developed and validated. It delivers the precision of DNA testing from the laboratory to on site locations, without requiring technical personnel. This is a novelty for the industry. The product consists of an integrated hardware device (sample preparation and detection using DMF platform) and embedded software (algorithms for analyses and generation of ISO accreditation).
